We are excited to announce, following a regional review of applications and interviews, Mallory Everson was selected by the board of directors to lead Alpha Opportunities Inc. to fill the role of Executive Director. Mallory has a long career of 18 years working in the DD field, with 7 of those years with Alpha Opportunities Inc. Mallory pursued a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Mayville State University prior to working in the DD field. Mallory is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in human services with a specialization in DD/IDD with Minot State University.
During Mallory’s 7 years at Alpha Opportunities, she has held the position as the Quality Assurance Director. In this role Mallory was an integral in the many changes that Alpha Opportunities Inc. has undergone. Her dedication to the organization is apparent through the multitude of changes she has aided Alpha Opportunities to achieve. One of Mallory’s most recent projects for the organization is the building and creating of a sensory room to be enjoyed by all the people of the organization.
The combination of her experience, culture, and drive makes her an ideal fit for Alpha Opportunities Inc. to continue to lead the organization on its Journey Beyond Excellence. Mallory will replace interim CEO Dewey Schlittenhard who will remain on as a financial consultant to the organization. He has served as the interim CEO for Alpha Opportunities for the past year, helping the organization establish a mission and vision to assist Alpha as we expand into the future. A steering committee has been established and together we will continue to build a culture change that Mallory and the team believes in and are excited to expand throughout the Alpha Opportunities.
The board of directors is excited to build on a partnership with Mallory Everson as she leads Alpha Opportunities to better serve the Jamestown region. Please join me in congratulating Mallory as she begins this new role at Alpha.
